Supporting Wives Serving the Church

Counseling + Training + Encouragement

2025 Women’s Ministry Love Gift

The wives of elders often face unspoken expectations and misperceptions when it comes to their role. They balance the role of being a church member, a friend to many, and a supportive spouse to their husband.

Our vision is to see the wives of elders equipped and encouraged. Through a strategic partnership between CDM and Geneva Benefits Group, the 2025 Women’s Love Gift will make it possible for the wives of elders to receive:

Provide 100 PCA pastors’ wives with access to confidential Christian counseling through Cherish.

“Life can be isolating and lonely on the front lines of ministry. Finding another voice, one that reminds me that Jesus is real, and to have the opportunity to talk about my stuff—when I usually only talk with others about theirs. It’s been a gift to my soul.” — Pastor’s Wife and Cherish Recipient

Host a conference for 300 PCA elders’ wives to receive equipping and training.

“As a ruling elders wife, I have enjoyed the fellowship and friendships I’ve begun through the WE cohorts! It’s been a way to expand my knowledge of the PCA across the country…I’m also encouraged at the bond we have in Christ. To pray for these women, in their circumstances, enriches my life and gives me perspectives beyond the scope of my own situations.” — PCA Ruling Elder’s Wife and WE Participant

Enable wives of elders to connect with one another for mutual support and encouragement.

“As a young pastor’s wife, our first call was very lonely and isolating. Becoming a part of WE has been a huge blessing for me as it has connected me with other pastors’ wives who know the unique challenges that this ministry brings. Meaghan does an excellent job of providing various outlets for us to learn and connect with one another while we seek to know our Savior more.” — Pastor’s Wife and WE Participant

Since the beginning of the PCA, the annual Women’s Ministry Love Gift has been used by God to strengthen our denomination. We invite you to Your support the Love Gift, which has invested nearly $2M into the kingdom-building ministries of the PCA.

By participating in a special offering in support of the Women’s Ministry Love Gift, churches give their members the opportunity to support the wives supporting our churches.

How to include the Women’s Ministry Love Gift in your church or Bible study offering:

  1. Choose a Sunday to collect a special offering or ask your church to make a direct gift.
  2. Download our bulletin insert and video to provide members with more information.
  3. Announce special offering in advance. Invite members to pray for the pastor and elder’s wives as they seek to faithfully serve our churches.
  4. Collect special offering. Share our video with the congregation.

Please note that all gifts received between January 1-December 31, 2025 will be for the 2025 Love Gift Legacy to WE/Geneva.
