Tangled Heart…Unraveling the Unique Challenges

for Church Staff Women*

Join us for a time of personal enrichment and rejuvenation at our 2018 Gathering

*This gathering is designed for paid (part-time or full time) women who serve other adult women in the church.

  • Monday, October 22 – 1 pm to 9 pm (includes dinner)

  • Tuesday, October 23 – All day (includes lunch and dinner)

  • Wednesday, October 24 – 8 am to 11:30 am

The spirit of a man sustains him in sickness, but as for a broken spirit, who can bear it? –Proverbs 18:14

This year Debbe Mays, who holds a Master’s degree in Counseling, will guide us through some of the unique challenges of working on a church staff and ministering to the women in our congregations. Often a busy schedule, burdens of ministry, and personal struggles we face do not allow us time to examine our own hearts before Jesus. Join us for these three days of gospel-centered rest, reflection, and rejuvenation.
These three days will be spent:
  • Naming and discussing some of the challenges of our hearts
  • Praying for one another and our personal struggles
  • Small group discussion and Biblical encouragement
  • One on One meetings with Debbe (as time allows)
  • Laughing and Learning alongside one another!
You won’t want to miss it!

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to collaborate, fellowship and learn together with women who serve as paid church staff in the PCA denomination. In addition to having time to just enjoy one another and celebrate God’s grace in our lives, we will have the privilege of hearing from others in our ministry field who have a rich heritage of experience to share. Their lives and ministry history will inform and inspire us in our own sphere of influence.

*This gathering is designed for paid (part-time or full time) women who serve other adult women in the church, including Directors of Women’s Ministry. If you have questions about who should attend, please contact Karen Hodge, khodge@pcanet.org.
