Keynote Speakers:

Ashley Hales

Ashley Hales is a writer, speaker, and holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Her first book is Finding Holy in the Suburbs: Living Faithfully in the Land of Too Much (InterVarsity Press). She also hosts The Finding Holy Podcast. Ashley is married to Bryce, a church planter who is planting Resurrection Orange County in southern California. They have four children.

Jeany Jun

Jeany Jun is wife of a ruling elder, a mother to three teenagers, a professor and pharmacist. She served in Cambodia as a medical missionary with her family from 2010-2013. In addition to her service in her local church as Discipleship Group Director at New Life Presbyterian Church of Orange County, she is a chapter author in two books, His Testimonies My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God and Beyond the Roles: A Biblical Framework for Women and Ministry.

Karen Hodge

Karen serves as the Coordinator for PCA Women’s Ministry, where she seeks to connect women and churches to one another and to sound resources. She is also having the time of her life serving alongside her husband, pastor and best friend Chris, as they plant King’s Cross Church in Fort Mill, SC. Chris and Karen have two adult children, Anna Grace Botka and Haddon Hodge. It is from the perspective of a wife, mother, leader and fellow pilgrim that she hopes to offer insights from God’s Word concerning how she and they can most effectively learn to enjoy and extend God’s glory. Karen, along with Susan Hunt, authored Transformed: Life-taker to Life-giver and Life-giving Leadership.

Worship Leader:

Janet Blair was a symphonic oboist, when God redirected her towards songwriting. In 2017, she released her debut album, Songs for the Waiting, produced by Matthew Odmark of the Jars of Clay.  It charted on the regional Billboard charts to acclaim. “A perfectly balanced blend between Ellie Holcomb and Regina Spektor, Janet Blair brings a fresh new sound to the Christian music scene with her smooth, silvery voice, piano-pop sounds, and incomparable messages of hope and glory in the midst of sorrow.” (Louder Than The Music).  Her second album, Over Under, releases in October, and is inspired by family love. Songs were advised on by Sara Groves, produced by Matthew Odmark (Jars of Clay), and mixed by Peter Katis (The National, Jonsi.) Janet enjoys leading music at Resurrection Presbyterian in San Diego, writing and adapting songs for congregational worship.

May I stay at a location other than the recommended hotel?

I’m flying to the Conference. How do I get from the airport to my hotel and to the church?

It would be best to rent a car if flying because there is no mass transportation to the hotel or church.

If a Conference is filled, is there a waiting list?

Yes, if we fill a conference, you may contact Kathy Wargo to put your name on a waiting list.

What if my question hasn’t been answered?

You may contact Kathy Wargo with additional questions.
