MINISTRY STAFF AND CONSULTANTS
“that you may know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge”
Stephen Estock longs to see local churches serve the Lord in answering Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3. Since his election as Coordinator in 2013, Stephen has worked to lead the staff of CDM in strengthening the local church. His understanding and desire for this developed as he served churches in Montgomery, AL (1995-2002) and St. Louis, MO (2002-2013).
Stephen met his wife Susan in San Bernardino, CA while he was an USAF officer (which explains why his ever-graying hair is still kept short) and she was on staff with Cru. They married in 1990 and have 3 children. Though he now lives in ATL, he still cheers for the St. Louis Cardinals. Having grown up in Alabama, he is a life-long Auburn fan. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Rhodes College, an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Education from Capella University. When he’s not coordinating the ministry of CDM, he loves to do yard work and DIY projects around the house.

Dennis grew up in a small town in New York called Brooklyn. His call to teaching shows God’s sense of humor because in high school he made fun of those in the “Future Teachers of America” Club, but his love of learning has always led him to teach. Dennis received a BA from the State Un. of NY (history) & a M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary; DRE, Trinity Theological Seminary. After seminary, he found himself teaching in churches, small groups, training Campus Life workers, and starting a Bible College. Educating others to love God and His Word has been the focus of my life.
Life always brings the unexpected. He married later in life and adopted 2 boys in his 40s. After spending 11 years working for the PCA, Cindy and Dennis moved to South Africa. He became a professor of Christian Education at the Bible Institute of South Africa. The experience changed their lives and grew our faith, as they returned to the states with an adopted son and daughter from Africa.
In 2006, Dennis returned to the PCA headquarters and began working for CDM. He serves as the coordinator of resources. It is the perfect job for him because it marries his love of books with teaching as he helps church leaders find the resources they most need. Feel free to call Dennis for advice on anything. If he doesn’t know it off the top of his head, he will research it and get back with you.
In his role with CDM and teaching at Metro Atlanta Seminary, Dennis is am living out his life verse: Ezra 7:10: Ezra [Dennis] set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach His statues and rules in Israel [South Africa, America, or wherever].
He has 4 grandchildren, 4,000 books, and the most amazing woman he’s ever met sharing his life. Daily, Dennis prays his children and grandchildren will join him one day in heaven—to God be the Glory!
