Conference FAQ

We are asking that no children (excluding infants) attend the sessions. There will not be childcare available at the church.

Yes! You are welcome to attend one of the Pre-Conference training sessions without registering for the Conference. There is a place online to register for them as well. Men and women are welcome to attend.

All registrations are transferable without penalty, but they are not refundable.

Yes! You are able to transfer your registration. Transfers are the responsibility of the two parties involved. CDM is not responsible to arrange payment for transferred registrations. Please email Kathy Wargo with updated information.

Once you choose your workshop, you will not be able to make changes to your registration (unless you email Kathy Wargo). However, at the conference, you may attend the workshop of your choice, but we ask that you allow others who registered for that workshop to take their seats first.

We often have contracts with hotels, but our cut-off dates are well in advance of the conference so that CDM will not be responsible for any unreserved rooms. Be sure to make your reservations by the date listed to get the group rate. You are welcome to use any hotel in the area (unless it is a conference where we are using their meeting rooms).

For conferences that are held at local churches, we are not committed to filling a certain number of hotel rooms with our contract. You are welcome to stay at someone’s home or at a different hotel. The rates we have contracted with the hotel are lower than typical rates.

For conferences that are held at hotels, the cost of our meeting room space is based on filling the number of hotel rooms contracted, so we ask that you please stay at the on-site hotel (unless you are commuting).

It would be best to rent a car if flying because there is no mass transportation to the hotel or church (unless the conference is at an airport hotel property).

Yes! Please tag any social media posts related to the conference (i.e. photos, quotes, updates, etc.) as listed in the program. Be sure to check out the Facebook page for women’s ministry or Facebook page for children’s ministry.

For ONE Conferences, Women’s Ministry Leadership Training Conferences, and Children’s Ministry Leadership Retreats, you will receive an email approximately 2 weeks prior that will list your workshops.
